From 16 - 19 January 2019 TC Freisenbruch will present itself with its own stand at ISPO Beijing in China's capital Beijing. The International Sports Fair in Beijing is an offshoot of the ISPO in Munich, the largest sports fair in the world.
This came as a surprise, but we didn't hesitate for a second to seize this unusual opportunity.

"ISPO is also increasingly devoting itself to digital topics, which is why we were the first fully digitalised football club to receive a request from Munich as to whether we would like to come with us to Beijing. This came as a surprise, but we didn't hesitate for a second to seize this unusual opportunity," says TC Chairman Gerrit Kremer, explaining how this extraordinary action came about.
Already about a year ago there was the first major contact with China for the TC Freisenbruch. Through a report about the TC in the largest Chinese football app "Allfootball", numerous Chinese tried to register with TC Freisenbruch as an online team manager. Since there is neither Facebook nor PayPal in China, this was not possible. Nevertheless, 3 Chinese managed to register by asking a Chinese student in Germany to do the registration for them.
"Since then, all people who are familiar with China and the Chinese market have told us that the Chinese are particularly keen on such projects as we are doing at TC Freisenbruch. A few months ago we also visited the China Forum of the NRW-Bank in Duisburg and got a first impression. One must say, China is in all interests in the truest sense of the word another world", says TC chairman Peter Schäfer.
That is why preparations at TC Freisenbruch have been in full swing for days now. In addition to the trade fair appearance itself, there are also numerous formalities to be completed in order to be able to travel at all. "There is already a lot of work behind us and a lot more ahead. This time, however, we want to be better prepared for a rush of Chinese interested parties," explains TC Advisory Board and project developer Peter Wingen. Among other things, the technical prerequisites still have to be created for Chinese customers to be able to register for the TC Freisenbruch online project for a fee. Schäfer, Wingen and Kremer will represent the TC on site in Beijing, who also decided to launch the project Dein Club - DU, in which online team managers steer the club's fortunes.
