Head coach Schäfer: "Don't go anywhere to lose"

The TC Freisenbruch is about to start its last three games of the season. Coach Peter Schäfer's team currently occupies sixth place in the standings - and it's now up to them to maintain this position despite the crisp final phase. On Sunday, the 27th matchday, the TC can look forward to the first tough task. We go away against the second in the table SuS Haarzopf. Before the encounter we meet head coach Peter Schäfer and talk to him about his expectations of the game.

Hello Peter, three more games to go. Time flies and with it the current season. Is the outcome of the three remaining games decisive for you for the overall conclusion of the season?

After the last game the time will be there to draw a conclusion.

Last we talked about the fact that you had to mourn some failures again, but many of them are expected back at short notice. What is the current situation for the upcoming encounter against hair plait? How many players can you plan with?

One or the other will decide at short notice. Marvin Schadhof will be absent additionally. He's privately indisposed on Sunday. Daniel Heising and Christian Brangenberg, on the other hand, will return after the yellow bar has been lifted. Michel Buschmann should also be available again. With the rest we have to look.

The hair sacrifices are clearly ahead of you in the table, but you still won 2-0 in the first leg. Surely that gives hope?

Of course. We know we can beat them ;-)

You think SuS Haarzopf deserves to be ranked vice champion?

I think so, they collected the most points after Werden Heidhausen.

Gegen Holsterhausen the attitude of your team last fit again, you showed yourself expressly satisfied after the game. What do you expect your team to do when they kick off the duel against the runner-up on Sunday at 3 p.m.?

The same setting and the same will to win. Otherwise there won't be anything to get for us in hair plait.

What are the chances of actually winning a threesome against braids of hair away from home? Do you play for victory right from the start, or could you now also make friends with a point sharing?

You're not going anywhere to lose. And playing 0-0 doesn't suit us either. So there's only one thing left: We have to want to win!
